Bliss as a Lifestyle |
|---|
First, understand that everything serves a purpose. When Bliss serves your personally chosen purposes more than drama or illusion or stress, you will have Bliss. Bliss is a different reality than our good vs. bad reality. Good vs. bad is a left-brain perspective. And Bliss, well, as the country song says, "this ain't no thinkin' thing." Bliss is simply a perspective, a way to look at things. In other words, Bliss always exists simultaneously with drama. It's a personal choice which you experience. The tricky part is that we often have to look in our subconscious minds to find the part of us that is choosing something other than bliss or joy or peace. The subconscious is the guardian of our personal desires and personal beliefs. There are layers to the subconscious, so the most profound results come from going to the deepest layers of the subconscious. At the very bottom of the subconscious, we all have the same desire: to experience being separate from the wholeness, to experience ourselves as separate entities. To experience the feeling of separateness, one has to compare himself to others. Sometimes, this comparison makes us feel inferior and sometimes it makes us feel superior. Never, though, does comparison result in Bliss. Bliss is the result of having a moment where separateness disappears and we feel connected to The Source. Giving you opportunities to feel like a victim or to feel like a savior is a favor your subconscious does for you. Giving you ways to compare yourself to others helps promote the illusion of separateness that you have chosen to experience. It is an illusion, of course. For we know deep down that we are all part of the collective consciousness. To give up that illusion demands the biggest sacrifice - We have to be willing to give up feelings of inferiority and feelings of superiority. That mean we also have to give up pain, self-criticism, lack, disease and who knows what all. For those are the methods we use to prove our inferiority and our superiority. Those experiences serve the purpose of making us feel separate from the Oneness that is. Whenever you choose to experience yourself as a part of the Whole, a piece of the grand puzzle, then it serves your purposes to experience Bliss. When you look at everything as a single cell in the body of God, you have a different perspective of everything you look on. You perceive life as always being in Divine Order. You see that Life uses expansion as well as contraction, cold as well as hot, light as well as darkness. They all accomplish different things. They all serve different purposes. Of course, the biggest purpose that opposites serve is to allow people the illusion that they exist as entities separate from the Whole. Contrasts allow people the illusion that they have power greater than God, or separate from God, which is about the same thing. God allows us our illusions. That's how we've operated for eons. So we should probably allow other their illusions, since we don't want to set up rules separate from God's. Allowing others the experiences of pain and power. Allowing others the illusions of separateness, while choosing the experience of Oneness for ourselves, puts us in a state of Bliss. When we have no other purposes we would serve, then Bliss is our lifestyle of choice. |
