The reality of your world
Lies within your own mind.
To change your world
You need only
change your mind.

The reality you experience
lies within your own perception.
to change your experience
you need only
change your perception.

The reality of who you are
lies within your own beliefs.
To change yourself
You need only
change your beliefs
.

Enjoying the Left Brain Life

To be successful in your left brain, there are many things that matter more than happiness, such as security, self-control, power, believing you are a ‘good’ person, liking yourself, solving problems, overcoming challenges, personal achievement, getting recognition for personal achievements, being the best.

All of the above can make for a very exhilarating life. Left brain living is an art form in itself. There is so much to learn, so much to do, so much to be.

Sure, in left brain living there is considerable pain, but the pain makes the pleasure so much sweeter by comparison. We make judgments by comparison, so contrast is necessary. We need lows so we can appreciate the highs. The roller coaster ride of emotions is absolutely addicting. It makes one feel so alive to experience so many emotions.

The left brain exists to give us the opportunity to see what life would be like if we were not connected to the entire cosmos.

Left Brain/ Right Brain Contrast

When in your Left brain
you experience Life
as an autonomous being.

You imagine yourself separate.
You have free choice.
You play a role.

It’s like being in a Broadway play
and everyone enjoying their roles so much
that they give repeat performances.

It’s like going to a video store
and getting to choose
which movies you want to see.

It’s like being scared out of your mind
on a roller coaster ride
then buying a ticket to do on it again.

It’s like waking from a dream
and going back to sleep
so you can finish it.

The problem I see
is that most people have forgotten that
the left brain is for entertainment.

They've been sitting in the dark so long
They’ve forgotten
they’re in the theatre.

Or, they’ve gotten so caught up
in the movie
they think it’s real.

Do you want to know what’s real?
Would it spoil the fun for you?
Could you still enjoy the play?

Some people can watch dramas
or violence and not be upset
"It’s only a movie" they say.

Wouldn’t it be nice
to be so removed
from the dramas of your life?

You can, of course.
Just switch over
to your right brain.

Experience yourself
as part of the Whole.
Feel the energy flowing through you.

Both feel real -
the right and the left
but there is a difference ...

The left brain allows us
the ultimate illusion.
The right... the ultimate reality.

You can have both worlds
You can play all day
and go home at night

Just be sure
you are playing the game
and it isn't playing you.
