Thoughts Are Like Seeds
by Lindy Lumbert

OUR EXPERIENCES FORM OUR THOUGHTS and FEELINGS
and
OUR THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS FORM OUR EXPERIENCES

We can look at how plants come into existence and gain an understanding of how our physical reality comes into existence.

A plant germinates in the ground, much like an idea germinates in our minds.

A plant begins with a seed of some sort. Seeds can be in the form of tubers, bulbs or the ovules of a flowering plant. But regardless of how it looks, it is a propagative source of a plant.
Things begin with thoughts. Thoughts can be in the form of conscious choices, daydreams, intended visualizations, subconscious beliefs, unconscious fears, triggered memories, etc. They are all propagative sources of the things in our lives.

A mighty oak tree comes into existance from a single acorn.
A business empire comes into existance from a single idea.

An oak tree can produce a few thousand acorns in one season, perhaps only one of those will live long enough to fully develop.
A person can produce a few thousand thoughts in a month, perhaps only one of those will live long enough to fully develop.

On the other hand, an obsure acorn may fall onto fertile ground and go undected until it produces a strong root, becomes firmly planted, and rather difficult to uproot.

Intentionally propagating an acorn is much more difficult than nuturing one that has seeded on its own.

Many things can interfere with the success of the development of an oak tree. Even though the tree takes root, it's success is not guaranteed. We can help insure its success by naking sure it recieves adequate water, supportive nutrients and protect it rom possibly harmful pests.

When having a piece of fruit, we might e're very aware that our fruit came from a tree yet not think, in that same moment that it was a fruit that produced the tree.
We are likely to give more thought our experiences created our feelings, thoughts and opinions

Many will rot on the ground, many will be collected by various animals and may rot or mold before they ever use them. some will take root yet be destroyed before achieving a full stage of development.
